About

Riverside Boat Hire has been providing quality boat hire on the Thames for over 20 years. Whether you're looking for a peaceful paddle in a canoe, an adventurous kayak trip, or a leisurely row, we have the perfect craft for you. All equipment and safety gear included.

Do I need experience?

No experience necessary! We provide a safety briefing and basic instruction before you set off. Life jackets are included with all hires.

What's included in the hire?

All hires include the boat/canoe/kayak, paddles/oars, life jackets, and a waterproof map of the river. We also provide dry bags for your belongings.

What's the difference between half-day and full-day?

Half-day hire is 4 hours (morning 8am-12pm or afternoon 1pm-5pm). Full-day hire is 8 hours (8am-5pm). Hourly hire is available for shorter trips.

What if the weather is bad?

Safety is our priority. We monitor weather conditions and will contact you if conditions are unsuitable. You can reschedule or receive a full refund.
