Can I rent things for more than 1 day?
No, we currently only support hiring for up to 1 day. This includes full day, half day, or hourly rentals within a single day.
Can I offer different services for the same equipment?
Yes! For example, if you offer boat hire, you can create separate services for "30 minutes", "1 hour", "half day", or "full day". When a customer books the boat for a full day, it will automatically become unavailable for all other time slots that day, preventing double bookings.
How does availability work with multiple items?
You can set quantities for each item. For example, if you have 5 power drills, customers can book up to 5 drills for the same day. The system automatically tracks availability and prevents overbooking.
Can customers see what's available before booking?
Yes, customers can see real-time availability for all your equipment. They can read the description of each item and choose a suitable time quickly by browsing the calendar. They select their preferred date and immediately see what's available to hire, making the booking process quick and transparent.
What happens if equipment gets damaged?
You can set up security deposits that are charged when booking and automatically refunded after successful return. This protects your equipment while giving customers confidence in the process.
Are there any limits on my GetaBooking account?
For GetaBooking accounts you are limited to 20 items of equipment. But if you have 5 drills the same, you can set that as 1 resource and set the capacity available to 5 in the service. We allow up to 30 services per account. A service would be used to allow for booking say 1 day charge, half day charge, or 1 hour charge - this would be 3 services.
